| 通信与传播源于英文同一单词，是技术和电信产业的发展导致了两者的分离，形成分属人文和理工的两个行业。然而两者从来就是密不可分、相互依赖和促进的。在当前网络传播环境下，通信业与传播业互相渗透，分界已趋模糊。通信和计算机（C&C）与消费电子结合为3C，又与信息内容结合而趋向4C。4C是通信本意的回归，使通信产业链趋于完整。依赖媒介的传播在网络环境下也将发生巨变，从“传播者本位”经历“受众本位”后，终将跨入“传受一体”的门槛，传统的大众传媒理论也将受到挑战。信息时代需要文理兼修的复合型网络传播从业人员，高校应响应这种需求。 |
| 英文摘要: |
| Telecommunication and communication come from the same English word(meaning intercommunication between human beings). It is the development of technology and telecommunication industry that has led to the separation of the two, gradually forming two different trades belonging to the Humanities and Science and Engineering respectively. However, they have been impartible from the very beginning, and have been depending on and promoting each other ever since. Under the present conditions of network transmission, the two trades are penetrating into each other and the boundary between them is becoming dissolved. Communication and Computer, combined with Consumer, formed the 3C′s, and now this combination is being further integrated with(information)Content and the result will likely be 4C′s. The 4C′s will be a return to the original meaning of communication, and will make the communication industry more complete. Meanwhile, in the network environment, the transmission depending on media will also undergo a great change, from transmitter oriented to receiver oriented and eventually to the combination of the two, and as a result, the traditional mass media theory will be challenged. The information era demands multi faceted network transmission employees majoring both in liberal arts and science, and hence colleges and universities should be responsive to such demands. |
