| 人类社会文明的进程始终与信息处理技术的发展有着必然的关联：一方面，信息处理技术的发展不断推动着人类文明的进程。纵观人类社会经历过的五次信息革命，每一次信息革命都标志着对语言处理能力的一次飞跃，人类能够更加有效地产生、传输、获取和利用信息，促进了人类社会的发展；另一方面，人类文明进程又不断地对人类的信息处理能力提出新的挑战。随着信息化社会的到来，计算机技术和通信技术日益融合，要实现对语言信息处理的完全自动化，语音处理技术必将向智能化方向发展，而人工智能的发展又必将谱写出一曲人类文明史的新篇章！ |

| The progress of human civilization has the inevitable connection with the development of information processing technology. On the one hand,the development of information processing technology is pushing the progress continuously. Taking a panoramic view of the five information revolutions man has undergone, we have found that every information revolution symbolizes a leap in the human ability of language processing——man can produce, transmit, retrieve and use information so effectively as to promote the development of human society. On the other hand, the progress of human civilization is constantly challenging the human ability information processing. Now with the advent of information society and the combination of computer techniques and communication techniques, speech processing will be automatized, and the development of artifical intelligence will surely create the more splendid history of human civilization. |
