| By comparing the governmental theories between Hobbes and Locke, the two foundation layers of western naturalism, this research argues that even though there are great differences between the two in the way how the governmental theories were demonstrated, they share similarity in the internal logics. The theoretical development from Hobbes to Locke reveals the logical improvement for naturalism. |
