| 通过对美国、中国内地和香港等不同地区不同创新物在各自特定时空中的扩散轨迹的总结和分析，把影响创新扩散的因素归纳为两大类：社会的和技术的。其中，社会因素又区分为创新产生的年代和创新扩散的地区，而技术因素主要指创新属性，分为计算类、电信类、家庭娱乐类和大众媒介类。研究结果发现，社会因素中的创新出现的时间对于创新扩散的形态具有显著影响；扩散所在地区和创新特性对创新扩散的形态没有显著影响。 |

| Based on the observation and analysis of a variety of innovations' diffusion patterns from three societies, i.e., the United States, Hong Kong and Mainland China (Beijing and Guangzhou respectively), this study identifies two main determinants of innovation diffusion: societal factor and technological factor. Among them, the societal factor was further composed of two sub-determinants, i.e., the time of innovation, and the specific society. Technological factor was basically a reflection of an innovation's dominant functions, i.e., computing, telecommunication, family entertainment and mass media, which are defined to be exclusive each other in the study. It is found that the pattern of innovation diffusion was mainly affected by the time of an innovation's first presence in a society. The specific area of diffusion, as well as the technological factor, has no significant effect on innovations' diffusion patterns. |
