The subject consciousness of contemporary university students is growing and value orientation becomes increasingly diverse. Meanwhile, the study of carriers in the ideological and political education research has opened a new phase because of the introduction of the concept of "new media". Cross border thinking, as a new concept, provides a new rational choice of the carrier in the ideological and political education.
