| 关于康有为的图书馆思想，学界研究的很不够，这集中体现在20世纪初十年间康有为欧洲十数国游记资料的发掘和分析的缺失。在康有为的十数国欧洲游记中，英国游记所显现的图书馆思想最为丰富，此外，意大利等国游记中也有相当的体现。康有为对西方图书馆关注、宣传及推介的用意，在于开民智，这是其推动变法事业的基础。 |

| Kang Youwei's library thought lacks adequate attention in academic circles, as seen in the loss of exploration and analysis of Kang's travel notes of more than ten European countries in the first decade of the 20th century. Among these travel notes, his library thoughts are most abundant in that of Britain, and also much embodied in that about Italy. Kang's concern, advocacy and introduction about western libraries aimed to develop civil wisdom, which was also the source of Kang's thoughts of Constitutional Reform. |
