| :Undoubtedly, Qin Guan is Su Shi's favorite disciple. During the Yuanfeng period, they got to know each other and later became bosom friends. During the Yuanyou, Shaosheng and Yuanfu period, they first got promotions and then resigned from their posts at about the same time. The reason that "Su Shi favors Qin Guan most among the four bachelors" is multifaceted. While they share many views in politics, literature and various aspects of life, the ways they communicate and deal with people are different. This type of friendship is of enlightening significance for people today. |
