1933年底之后，政府当局多次严令取缔民信局，并要求各机关密切协助，各地取缔活动由此展开，其罢废引起社会各界的广泛关注。在此之前，民信局为避免走向衰亡采取了诸多措施，如上书、请愿、行政诉愿等。在此之间，随着罢废日期的日益迫近，民信局在范围上也逐渐由分散走向联合，在程度上由温和走向激进。然民信局终究难逃衰亡厄运，究其原因主要有两点：一是民信局自身问题使然，如缺乏有效的安全保障、走私毒品等；二是外部因素使然，如邮政当局的排挤、战争因素的影响等。

英文摘要:

Following the end of 1933, the Administration strictly banned the civil postal office for many times and called for assistance of all authorities. As a result, the banning activity took place in various regions, which caused widespread concern of all fields of society. Prior to this phase, the civil postal office took a number of measures in order to avoid going to decline, such as petition and administrative petition and so on. With the impending date of being banned, the civil postal office gradually developed from being dispersed to being united, changed from being moderate to being radical. However, the decline was still doomed eventually. One of the two main reasons is their own problems of the lack of effective security and drug smuggling. The other is the external factors such as the exclusive action of the postal authorities as well as the war.
