改革开放以来，经济的快速发展，以及城市人口的恢复补偿性增长，使我国城镇化进入快速发展的轨道。但城市的盲目蔓延造成生态环境污染与破坏严重，城乡关系不协调，存在二元经济结构。针对我国城镇化建设中存在的问题，提出我国城镇化应该加强大中小城市与重点小城镇的协调发展，采取严格的措施，实行因地制宜、节水、节地、节能、低碳的发展方式，逐步走上健康的可持续发展之路。

英文摘要:

Chinese urbanization has maintained a high growth trend with the fast social economy development and the recovery growth of the urban population since China carried out reforming and opening policy. Cities spread in a blind way , which brings a series of problems such as the serious environment pollution and destruction, and the imbalance between urban and rural areas that leads to a dual economic structure. To solve these problems, this paper suggests that Chinese new urbanization construction should follow a new mode with Chinese characteristics, strengthening a coordinated development among big, medium and small cities and key towns, taking rigid measures to consider local conditions, save water, land and energy, and emphasize low carbon development, so that Chinese urbanization will gradually take to the quality and efficiency centered healthy and sustainable development path.
