| 对“自由”的追求和探讨是哲学永恒的话题之一。“自由”既非无边无限的恐怖式自由，也非以主体自我意识为导向的自由；“自由”根基于“意识”，是思想的产物。艾丽斯?默多克作为一名文学家兼哲学家，代表作《黑王子》中暗藏着其对自由的深刻理解。她认为，要获得“自由”，行为主体必须从不完美的婚姻中挣脱出来；真爱是一种至善的精神活动，它的介入势必会让主体从道德源头处体验“自由”；作为一种超越性的行为，死亡象征着意义的敞开，伴着主体肉身的消亡也将释放出更为广泛的自由。 |

| The pursuit and exploration of freedom is one of the eternal topics of philosophy. Freedom can neither be understood as the boundless freedom of terror or subject’s self consciousness oriented behavior. Originating from the field of consciousness, freedom is the product of idea. As a well known writer and philosopher, Iris Murdoch put her profound understanding of freedom into the masterpiece Black Prince. To obtain freedom, the subject must break himself from unhappy marriage；then, love is a supreme spiritual activity and its intervention would let the subject experience freedom in the moral sense；last, as a kind of transcendence, death symbolizes the unlocking of significance. Therefore, with the extinction of subject’s moral body, the more extensive freedom would be finally realized. |
