| 邮政网路是改进通信质量、提高社会经济效益的根本保证。新中国成立至“一五计划”末，随着邮政网路的恢复和发展，邮政局所、邮路和邮运工具得以持续扩建，从而对函件、包件、汇兑及报刊发行等邮政主要业务产生深远影响，进而在国民经济恢复和建设时期发挥了重大作用。 |

| Post network is fundamental for improving the quality of communication and social and economic benefits. From the founding of new China to the end of the first Five year Plan period, post offices, post routes and postal tools kept expanding with the recovery and development of China’s post network. This had exerted far reaching implications for such major postal businesses as of letters, parcels, remittance and newspaper distribution, which further plays a significant role in the national economy recovery and construction. |
