| Deng Xiaopings distinctive bottom line thinking of reform is embodied in his ideas as “stability is of overriding importance”, “development is the hard truth”, “if our policy leads to polarization, we have failed”, “with both hands, both are tough” and “our ancestors cannot be lost”. Adhering to Dengs bottom line thinking is of great significance for CPC party, as it is not only the inherent requirement to promote the reform and opening up and maintain the political concentration in the modernization process, and the basic guarantee to ensure the socialist direction in Chinas reform and modernization, but the major cause for the socialism with Chinese characteristics to constantly maintain its vigor and vitality. |
