| With a review of relevant research and theory on human “free will”, and combined with the author Liu Cixin’s viewpoints, this paper examines the negative attitude against man’s “free will” in the movie “The Wandering Earth” and its symbolic expression based on a content analysis. It will serve as a case for a deep understanding of Liu Cixin’s “scientific” sci fi creation ideas and other science fiction movies of similar themes. |
