      中国式高等教育现代化是中国特色社会主义现代化的重要组成部分,它发轫于新民主主义革命时期,经历了改革开放前的奠基期,改革开放后的起步期,以及新时代的完善期。党和国家通过创新人才培养理念、探索人才培养经验、构建现代大学制度等方式促进了高等教育与社会经济的协调发展,不但实现了中国式高等教育的现代化,还为中国式现代化进程贡献了强劲的创新性动力源。中国式高等教育现代化具有“坚持社会主义办学方向”的本质特征,“中国特色话语体系”的理论特征,中国共产党领导下“服务国家需要”的实践特征,以及“以人民为中心”的价值特征。我国不但走出了一条中国特色世界一流大学建设的新道路,还为发展中国家的高等教育现代化提供了“中国方案”,为全球高等教育治理体系变革提供了“中国智慧”,为推进全球高等教育现代化提供了“中国力量”,为创造人类文明新形态提供了“中国担当”。
英文摘要:
      The modernization of Chinese style higher education is an important component of the modernization of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It originated during the period of the New Democratic Revolution, went through the foundational period before the reform and opening up, the initial period after the reform and opening up, and the period of improvement in the new era. The Party and the state have promoted the coordinated development between higher education and social economy by innovating the concept of talent training, exploring the experience of talent training, and building a modern university system, which has not only realized the modernization of Chinese style higher education, but also contributed a strong source of innovation to the process of Chinese path to modernization. The modernization of Chinese style higher education has the essential characteristics of “adhering to the socialist school running direction”, the theoretical characteristics of “discourse system with Chinese characteristics”, the practical characteristics of “serving the needs of the country” under the leadership of the CPC, and the value characteristics of “taking the people as the center”. China has not only paved a new path for the construction of first class universities in the world with Chinese characteristics, but also provided a “Chinese solution” for the modernization of higher education in developing countries, a “Chinese wisdom” for the transformation of the global higher education governance system, a “Chinese strength” for promoting the modernization of global higher education, and a “Chinese responsibility” for creating new forms of human civilization.
